I am the owner, coach, and nutrition coach here at Crossfit 201. Crossfit and nutrition have changed my life for the better in so many ways. I want to share that same experience with everyone who walks through my doors. My goal is to make sure that the hour that you spend with us is the best hour of your day. Let us help you improve your quality of life by making you better through proper movement, nutrition, and mindset.

I want every single person leaving our gym feeling amazing and as a result, return home full of positive energy and motivation to live the life you love. Crossfit will definitely make you lose those extra inches and pounds, build lean muscle, and improve your fitness, but that is not all that we’re after for our members. We want to genuinely change your life for the better. I'm passionate about building relationships and encouraging others to be the best they can be. I am no stranger to the Crossfit community. I started my journey back in 2012. The workouts are great but what attracted me the most to Crossfit is the community and the people. CrossFit Level 1 CrossFit Level 2

Our gym combines every aspect of exercise science, ensuring that you get the results you want. We offer proven workouts to build energy and endurance. We combine that with sensible eating plans that help you hit that sweet spot where you lose fat while you gain muscle.

Joe Gorton

I walked into CrossFit201 for the first time on a cold April morning in 2012. I didn't know what to expect, but what I got was a challenging workout and a fun time with great people. I played baseball in college, and the support that I got from the coaches and other members at CrossFit201 made me feel like I was on a team again. I started coaching because I love helping other people reach their potential.

At CrossFit201 I have the opportunity to work with a wide range of athletes, from beginners to seasoned pros. The one constant is that everyone is trying to improve and get better than they were yesterday. My goal is to motivate all athletes through a safe, effective workout every single class. I started CrossFit in 2012 when I reluctantly purchased a Groupon for "boot camp classes". I was in graduate school, very out of shape and hoping that another Groupon (following yoga, kickboxing & globo gyms) would be the kick start that I needed to get back on track. CrossFit has been that and more for me; it has provided me with lasting friendships, never-ending support both in & out of the gym and most importantly, the confidence to try every day to be better & stronger than the last.

Since that day, I was hooked! I can honestly say that CrossFit is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Similarly to my social work career outside of the gym, I truly love helping athletes with building confidence & reaching their own personal goals. I love the changing nature of fitness that CrossFit provides; each day is something different & more exciting than the last. No matter how proficient one may feel after years of CrossFit, there will always be another WOD that will remind you that there is always another PR (personal record) to reach for ? Watching athletes learn & develop new skills to reach their full potential is what I love to do. This sport has had such a profound and positive impact on so many people across the nation and it is my hope that I can have as great of an impact on my community at Crossfit201. I walked into my first CrossFit gym as a very out of shape, binge eating, under eating athlete with little knowledge about weights. I had played other sports growing up, such as swimming, horseback riding, and Muay Thai, but never did anything with weights. All I remember my first day is everyone lifting these metal bars that they would drop and make a loud clang! Was I intimidated? Big time. Was I going to give up? Absolutely not. I stuck with it and fell in love! I have met so many amazing individuals that have helped me progress not only with weights but with my nutrition and continue to do so.

CrossFit helped me learn how to properly nourish my body and finally leave binge eating behind. I saw muscle on my body I never thought I’d have. I saw myself doing things I never thought I’d be able to do! It’s a constant competition against yourself – how can I keep improving? It transformed me as an athlete but also as a person. What I love most about CrossFit is it’s amazing community. The second I walked into CrossFit 201 I felt so welcomed by Stacey, the coaches, and the members. Everyone likes to workout hard but have fun while doing it. We cheer each other on, we take the time to get to know each other, it truly is a family. I am ecstatic and so grateful to be a part of the 201 team! I can’t wait to share my knowledge with others but also learn from them and continue growing as a person and athlete! Before I ever walked through the doors of CrossFit 201, my passion for health and fitness began as a kid playing ice hockey. I was fascinated with how strength training and eating right could have such a big impact on my performance on the ice. Since hockey is such a fast-paced, physical sport, I needed to balance proper training, nutrition and rest. As I got older and the opportunity to continue playing sports became smaller, I was still looking to be involved with strength training.

 I continued to work out and teach TRX classes, but decided to take a class at CrossFit 201 for a change of pace. The constantly varied workouts were exactly what I was looking for. As a coach at CrossFit 201, I look forward to helping others reach their own goals the same way the other coaches of 201 have helped me accomplish mine. Certifications: CrossFit Level 1

Kristen Reiche

Kristen has been working in the fitness industry for the past seven years helping people transform their health by empowering them to take their workouts, nutrition, and mindset to the next level. Playing competitive soccer since she was eight years old, Kristen earned a full scholarship to play Division One at Stony Brook University. Unfortunately, Kristen suffered a career ending injury, leading to two shoulder surgeries and the inability to continue her collegiate soccer dreams.

After struggling with depression and weight gain, Kristen found her love for weight training and nutrition and decided to pursue her career as a fitness and nutrition coach. Kristen uses her story to help relate to her clients and inspire them to take control of their lives physically and mentally. Her expertise in cultivating confidence, creating healthy habits and positive mindset development help her deliver a completely unique fitness experience, leaving clients feeling motivated and capable of more than they ever thought possible. Eddie Davies

I've been coaching CrossFit for a little under a year now. I started as a member here at the gym in 2019 and instantly fell in love with CrossFit, this gym, and the community here knowing I wanted to give back and coach others. I earned my certification in personal training with NASM in 2019 and also spent 6 years in the United Stares Marine Corps where my passion for fitness began. I walk into each class ready to support others perform to the best of their abilities. I'm excited to see where my CrossFit careers goes from here!
